We chose Trelowarren for our wedding venue, as it is so close to home and perfect for a beautiful autumnal wedding.
The house is a gorgeous setting steeped in history and an amazing location for guests to arrive and receive their welcome drinks and canapés. The wild winds outside made the fire in the Library cosy and welcoming, and we had a friend play the violin in the Chapel, which created a beautiful atmosphere. Afterwards, we headed up to the stable for the wedding breakfast. This is a fantastic room that is a blank canvas waiting for you to put your own signature on. We chose to create a warm colourful ambience with fairy lights, candles and homemade pottery on the tables. One guest said it was like ‘walking into a warm hug’. Being able to access the stable as much as we liked helped with the setting up process and enabled us to create the vision that we had. All the staff were very helpful throughout the process, enabling us to have a very special and magical day, where many happy memories were made and will be treasured forever.

Everything at our wedding was done with the upmost care and professionalism and we felt so lucky to have such a great team for the day.
We felt so looked after the whole time and no request was too much (including having a 25-piece brass band on the lawn). We loved the venue, the food, the accommodation – everything was just wonderful and we had the best day. Thank you so much to the whole team, Trelowarren will always be a special place for us.

Trelowarren is the perfect wedding venue. There’s so much space, and it’s full of different and unique photo opportunities.
All of the rooms and the grounds are kept to a very high standard. The food we had from Tim and Louise at the New Yard Restaurant (who are based on site) was exquisite. Exceptionally well run and all staff were happy and accommodating. We can’t recommend the food enough to anyone.
The wedding planner, who was included in our wedding package, was extremely helpful with setting up and general organising throughout the day, which made us both feel much more relaxed knowing that everything was under control. Nothing was ever too much trouble and all clearing up the day after was sorted before we even thought about it.

We had a wonderful wedding at Trelowarren. It could not have been more perfect and we will always look back on our time there fondly. Trelowarren and the Helford area is magical and we feel lucky to have had all our friends and family there for our big day. Everyone we worked with onsite, including the team at Flora, were so helpful, kind, thoughtful, and importantly calm. The fantastic wedding planners helped organise so much for us, and all the suppliers we worked with were fantastic. P & J

We decided to hold our wedding at the Trelowarren Estate due to its exclusivity and vast amount of space it holds in its beautiful grounds. The Chapel for us was a real selling point – it’s simply stunning and unique, which all our guests commented on, and the idea of moving guests from the Chapel, to the lawn, to the barn offered both indoor and outdoor options for UK weather anxiety!
We held a very small, intimate legal ceremony in the main house library, followed by the traditional wedding in the Chapel the day after. The intimate ceremony in the library was beautiful, with the fire blazing and our closest family relaxed on sofas around us.
The morning of the traditional wedding, myself and all my bridesmaids (7 in total) got ready in the bridal suite, which offered so much space and comfort and was great for people watching, as we watched guests arriving at the chapel below. Some of my bridesmaids stayed in the other bedrooms on site, which were immaculately made up and comfortable. The breakfast on offer was an amazing, vast spread, which we all enjoyed throughout the morning, and everyone was so accommodating with timings and really friendly, making the morning and the whole experience so special.
Unlike a lot of other venues in the area, we felt really relaxed staying at the venue exclusively for 3 days over the
wedding weekend, which meant we had plenty of time to set up the barn the day before and take our time checking out after the wedding, spending maximum time with friends and family. The restaurant on site also (Flora New Yard) was a huge selling point, with its incredible food and catering capabilities, our wedding meal was just delicious, and guests commented on how amazing all the food was, with so much flexibility in the menu that we helped design.
We would recommend this venue to anyone thinking of getting married in the area for its exclusivity, uniqueness and sheer beauty.

This really is a hidden gem of a wedding venue.
We had our Christmas wedding at Trelowarren Estate in December 2024 and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect venue! When we first visited Trelowarren in November 2023, we were shown around the main house and wider accommodation and sold the magic, beauty and incredible history of the estate. The house, with it’s open fires, library and family chapel made it the most unique setting for our winter wedding. We received such incredible support from all the Trelowarren staff throughout our wedding journey; we made multiple visits to the estate before our wedding day to show friends and family around or to measure up rooms and plan the finer details. The staff were unbelievably welcoming and accommodating every time.
Having Out Of The Ordinary as wedding planners included in the overall price was invaluable for us. Their expertise, coordination and support on the wedding day surpassed all our expectations.
The outstanding catering by Tim and Louise based at The New Yard Restaurant at Trelowarren was a true highlight of the weekend, and we can’t thank the whole team enough for their impeccable customer service and attention to detail.
The B&B accommodation at the main house and on site cottage accommodation for ourselves/family/friends was impeccably clean and homely, and allowed us to extend the celebrations over a whole weekend. The breakfast served at the main house was delicious with plenty of variety, with the team at Trelowarren making us feel at home! Having the opportunity to stay in a beautiful, historic house with history dating back to the 1400s was such a unique experience. 
Trelowarren surpassed all our expectations! This really is a hidden gem of a wedding venue. It is completely unique and the value for money is by far the best of all venues that we considered. Our wedding day will certainly not be the last time we visit Trelowarren Estate! It is a very special place to us and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
