Easter at Trelowarren – The Perfect Spring Escape

Back to all News

Posted on by

Spring at Trelowarren is something special. The days are getting longer, the air is crisp and fresh, and the first signs of new life are everywhere. Buds are bursting, birds are singing, and the promise of warm sunshine is just around the corner. It’s the perfect time to slow down, soak in the beauty of Cornwall, and make the most of the Easter holidays.

What to Do?

If it’s sunny – do as the Cornish do – drop everything and head to the beach. Nothing says Easter in Cornwall like your first paddle of the year, the kind that makes your toes tingle with cold and your heart sing with the sheer joy of it. Pack towels, swimming costumes, and a warm coat (trust us, you’ll need all three). And for the perfect seaside supper, pick up freshly cooked fish and chips from the Gweek Village van or the Lifeboat House in Coverack. There’s nothing quite like unwrapping steaming hot fish and chips by the water.

If it’s less sunny – do as the Cornish do – drop everything and go to the beach anyway. Just swap the fish and chips for a hot pasty from Gear Farm (a stones throw from Trelowarren) Nothing warms hands (and hearts) like a proper Cornish pasty enjoyed on the sand, wrapped up against the breeze.

More Easter Adventures

Easter in Cornwall isn’t just about the beach. It’s about woodland walks with the first signs of bluebells, picnics in sheltered spots, and exploring the winding lanes that lead to hidden coves. It’s about cycling the trails, spotting wildlife, and ending the day with a long soak in a deep bath before curling up by the fire.

And, of course, it’s about chocolate, every cottage and house at Trelowarren has a perfect garden to create your own Easter egg hunt.

Make It Happen

The Easter holidays are the perfect excuse for a proper Cornish adventure. Whether you’re bringing the family, escaping for a peaceful retreat, or gathering friends for a long weekend of good food and fresh air, Trelowarren has the perfect cottage waiting for you.
