Foraging School with Josh and Jeff

We are excited to announce out seasonal foraging school to be held in conjunction with the incredibly knowledgeable Joshua Quick from ‘Wild St Ives’ –– @Joshwildstives – Josh is an International member of the Association of Foragers with which promotes sustainability and ecological stewardship through teaching and harvesting wild plants and fungi for the use of food & drink.

We have worked with Josh for over a year now and we can vouch that his workshops are both fun and educational, these sessions will be an active lesson with a long walk around the estate, showing what you can and more importantly what you can’t pick and eat. He will also teach us what you can make out of the ingredients you find, using traditional methods, at the end of our day you will get to taste this as Jeff serves lunch from the food we have foraged!


7th April – Spring foraging

28th July – Summer foraging

25th August – Late summer forgaing

20th October – Autumn foraging



Meet at PIZZA SHOP for coffee and biscuits where Josh will talk us through to what expect from the day


Leave for the walk around the estate, remember to bring wellies


Return to our PIZZA SHOP for coffee and biscuits and a chat with Josh and our head chef, Jeff


Lunch served from the woodfired oven, using the ingredients we foraged in the day.

£45 a head including lunch
