Children are very welcome at Trelowarren. Some of the houses have a 2nd TV in the children’s room. Internet is available at a small charge in each of the houses or free of charge in reception and at the restaurant.Children have space to roam and explore, excellent bike riding opportunities, a heated pool, tennis courts and table tennis.

Dogs are also welcome at Trelowarren, although we don’t allow them upstairs or on the furniture, we often see some very happy furry faces on our walks around the estate. Information for dog owners is available here: Dog-friendly holidays.

What is included in the price

halliggye-kitchen-01The price of our self catering cottages includes VAT, electricity and heating charges. Linen and house towels are included in the price. You have full use of the gym (adults only), the heated swimming pool (open from mid February until the end of October), the tennis court and the table tennis.

Each property is fitted with a washing machine, a dish washer, a microwave, a conventional oven, a vacuum cleaner, a TV, a stereo system, a wood burning stove, a shower, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, a BBQ and a good set of kitchen equipment. Most of the properties have a bath.

If you need a cot and/or high chair please add that to your booking sheet so that we can arrange this for you. Please note we do not provide linen for cots.

What you will need to bring

woodland-walkIn each property we have a small starter pack which includes: 2 dish washer tablets, 1 dish cloth, 2 tea towels and 2 hand towels. You will probably need to bring a few more of cloths and tea towels and other kitchen and bathroom consumables you use at home. Please also bring swimming/beach towels that you will want to take away from your property.

There are 1000 acres of estate woodlands, farmland and gardens, we have a number of walks for you to enjoy without leaving Trelowarren. Remember to bring outdoor shoes and wet weather clothes. Although it is often sunny in Cornwall we do enjoy some rain and wind as well.

You may like to bring your bikes, boats, surf boards or walking shoes and binoculars, so that you can enjoy everything Cornwall has to offer. Read about what activities you can take part in at the Lizard here: Indoor/Outdoor things to do in Cornwall.

Check in / out

Please drive directly to your house when you arrive. Your house will be ready for you from 3.00pm. Please make sure you have our written directions with you as most sat navs tend to take you somewhere completely different.

Please vacate by 10.00am on day of departure.

Hassle-free food

nyr-drinksIf you would like to organise shopping to be delivered to your house ready for your arrival, please email a request for the Gweek shopping list. This must be sent to the shop about 2 weeks before your arrival. Specialising in local produce, you are guaranteed fresh food without the headache of having to go shopping when you arrive.

After your long journey you may opt for an exquisite meal at the New Yard Restaurant. Please book your table to avoid disappointment.

Relax and Rejuvinate

Our warm, outdoor ozone swimming pool is extremely inviting. From March until the end of October, it will be open from 8am till 8pm. Remember to bring your swim wear and towels.
